Start Capacitors are used during the motor start-up phase to provide rotating torque and is disconnected once the motor reaches a pre-determined speed. Globe Capacitors Aluminium Electrolytic and MPP AC Motor Start Capacitors are mainly used for starting single phase AC motor with rated voltage of 110-330VAC & frequency of 50/60 Hz. These are produced in accordance with the following series: GCMS-1 SERIES GCMS-2 SERIES GCMS-3 SERIES GCMS-4 SERIES
High purity etched & formed aluminium foil wound
with electrolytic paper, impregnated with an
electrolyte. (GCMS-1,GCMS-2,GCMS-3)
MPP film dielectric start capacitor under GCMS-4.
Available with Bakelite case, Aluminium case or
plastic case.
Also available with different terminals and cable/wire
options.
